Call for Lecture Proposals: International Masonic Week 2025
Organized by the International Museum of Freemasonry
Theme: "Freemasonry: Building Better Human Beings"
July 21–27, 2025 | Castillonnès, France

We are excited to invite Masonic researchers, brothers, and sisters to contribute to the International Masonic Week 2025, an exceptional event dedicated to exploring the role of Freemasonry in today’s world. This week-long event is organized by the International Museum of Freemasonry. The theme, "Freemasonry: Building Better Human Beings," aims to foster discussions on how Masonic principles and practices remain relevant and powerful tools to shape individuals, societies, and the world for the better.

Call for Lectures
We are seeking proposals for lectures that delve into the event’s central theme or related topics such as:

  • How Masonic values and rituals can improve the human condition.

  • The role of Freemasonry in fostering moral and ethical leadership in modern society.

  • The relevance of Masonic teachings in addressing today’s global challenges (social, environmental, or technological).

  • Historical insights on Freemasonry’s impact on societal development and its potential future role.

We encourage both experienced speakers and those new to public presentations to share their vision of Freemasonry’s role in shaping a better future. Whether your perspective is philosophical, historical, symbolic, or practical, we invite you to be part of this inspiring week of reflection, dialogue, and action.

Submission Details
To be considered for the program, please send us a proposal that includes:

  • Title of your lecture

  • Brief summary (200-300 words) of the presentation

  • Short bio (100-150 words), including your Masonic experience

Deadline for Proposals: As soon as possible, or no later than November 30, 2024
Format: We are exploring the possibility of remote presentations, but it is not yet guaranteed. In-person presentations are preferred, and we encourage you to join us in Castillonnès if possible. Please indicate your preference for in-person or remote presentations.

Selected speakers will have the opportunity to present their lecture to a diverse audience, both in Castillonnès and via live streaming online. This is an unparalleled chance to share your insights and contribute to a meaningful global conversation about the role of Freemasonry in the 21st century.

Why Participate?
By presenting at this event, you will be contributing to a larger and unique Masonic project—the creation of the first and only International Museum of Freemasonry, a nonprofit organization independent of any specific Masonic body. This museum will serve as a global center for art and culture, preserving and promoting Masonic heritage for generations to come. Any funds raised from this event will directly support the museum’s development.

Special Invitation
All participants who present lectures will be invited to the Gala Dinner hosted by the Confrérie des Vrais Amis de Castillonnès, a traditional oenogastronomic brotherhood supporting the museum while promoting the famous products and lifestyle of this region of France. If you wish, you may also be officially inducted as a Knight of Castillonnès during the ceremony, further linking you to this historic and prestigious Masonic project.

Besides supporting this noble project, you will have the pleasure of meeting brothers and sisters while enjoying a few days of vacation in the South-West of France, famous for its gastronomy, history, and mysteries! Several tastings will be organized and offered to the participants.

We look forward to your proposals and hope to welcome you to Castillonnès for an extraordinary week of Masonic reflection, collaboration, and celebration.
